New Feature: Future publications/Delist dates
Erudus is getting a major upgrade - improvements to the system, exciting new features, and additions that have come as a direct result of user feedback. The launch date is 8 January 2024, and in the run up we’re sharing a host of sneak previews about what’s coming.
This time it’s the turn of future publications/delist dates, an upcoming feature sure to make life easier for our Manufacturer users...
How will the new future publications/delist dates work?
From 8 January, whenever a Manufacturer goes to publish a new product or make a change to an already published product on their account, they will be given the option to publish the changes or specification itself on a future date.
Essentially, this allows Manufacturers to control the publication schedule of their product specifications in advance and at the push of a button.
How will this benefit Manufacturer uses?
This new feature will save Manufacturers time, and make the specification publication process much easier and more streamlined.
Specification changes can be made as soon as you become aware of any new products being brought to market or changes being made to any current products, and scheduled to go live at a future date - avoiding the need to set reminders, or wait until the live date and end up rushing the process.

The only thing users will need to do differently from the current process is fill in the optional attribute to denote the date the changes are to go live in the Data Pool - should they want to take advantage of the feature when publishing a specification in the Product Editor.
