Food Allergy Aware - Caroline Benjamin
Food Allergy Aware is a leading national provider of FreeFrom auditing, training and support in all aspects of food safety requirements, recognised by The Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH) and Highfield HABC.
How they help the food industry: Founder Caroline Benjamin and her colleagues develop solutions to give businesses the tools, knowledge and expertise to not only manage the labelling regulations but to take it to the next level. They produce resources for the RSPH level 2 Food Allergen Management Training and have developed bespoke in-house workshops for clients appropriate to their operation.
Caroline has written articles for many industry publications, and regularly speaks at events on the topics of Food Allergy Awareness with the food service industry. She has also developed a webinar for the Institute of Hospitality - ‘Allergens made Simple, Are you complying?’

How they help the food industry: Jacki McPeake works with many clients across the food industry and educational sectors, educating them on the importance of good allergen management and the urgency to implement these practices - regardless of the type of food business. She also provides support for businesses to achieve allergen awareness certification.
Jacqui has worked for over 30 years in the Catering industry, predominantly the HE sectors. She has extensive skills and knowledge of soft Facilities Management, and spent 9 years as Head of Catering at Manchester Metropolitan University.
NB Catering Consultants - Stephen Midgley

Tim trained as a Chef, then moved into sales with Bulmers Cider. He then worked in wine, with successful spells at Whitebridge Wines, Forth Wines and Hallgartens. In the food industry he has experience of transitioning fresh produce companies into foodservice, was Sales Training Manager at Brakes, Foodservice Controller at Veetee Rice and built up a nationwide network of Wholesalers at Huegli UK.
