What is an Erudus Open Day?

Erudus Open Days are an opportunity for the Erudus team and Erudus users to benefit from each other’s expertise.

We’re inviting Manufacturers to come and spend a day in Erudus’s brand new headquarters, show off their products and receive feedback from our team. It’s a great chance to ensure that everyone at Erudus is well educated about your range, and there’ll also be time to discuss any issues you’ve been having, or other topics of interest.

The purpose of the occasion is to strengthen the partnership between Erudus and the Manufacturers who use our platform, by improving our mutual understanding and knowledge of the products on Erudus.

Manufacturers participating in an Erudus Open Day will also receive 10 free product images (including pack and case), shot on the day by the Erudus Image Capture team in our state of the art new studio.

What do Manufacturers get out of an Erudus Open Day?

The Erudus team loves getting to know our Manufacturer users - and the better we know them the better placed we are to serve them and anticipate their needs.

But there are many other benefits for those who choose to take part in an Erudus Open Day, including:

What occurs during an Erudus Open Day?

The itinerary of each Erudus Open Day is tailored to the wants and needs of the individual Manufacturer taking part.

A sample schedule might look like this:

• 10am - Tour of the Erudus offices, including Image the Capture studio
• 10.30am - Account catch-up, check in with Erudus team regarding your Erudus experience and a chance to raise issues or communicate your needs and wants
• 11.30am - Time with an Erudus product specialist giving you tips and tricks for getting the most out of using Erudus
• 12pm - Product photography session
• 1.30pm - Products demonstration
• 2.30 pm - Q&A session, feedback from Erudus team
• 3.30pm - Interview for marketing piece

Where does the Open Day take place?

The Open Days all take place at our brand new, two storey headquarters, located in Newcastle and with spectacular views of the Tyne.

Parking is available onsite, and there are full cooking facilities should you wish to heat your products before the demonstration.

What is Erudus Image Capture and how does it benefit businesses?

Image Capture is Erudus’s high quality, cost-effective product photography service. It uses cutting edge technology to create the kind of high-resolution imagery that elevates e-commerce solutions, sales materials and marketing content.

For Erudus users it is extra-beneficial, since the images are automatically uploaded to their accounts and corresponding product specs - not only is this good news for internal access and storage, but Wholesalers and Integration Partners will also have fast and easy access to the imagery they need without it costing either side time and resources. Essentially, it makes businesses more efficient and profitable.

Erudus Image Capture covers all pack and case shots as part of the service, including:

• Front
• Left-angled
• Right angled
• The images can come in a variety of sizes, which will be determined by their end use.

This is up to and including dimensions of 5,000 x 5,000 pixels, and on a perfect white background.

What is the Marketing Package that goes with the Erudus Open Day?

As part of the Erudus Open Day, you or someone from your business will be interviewed by a member of the Erudus Marketing team, and this interview - alongside some editorial shots taken on the day by our Image Capture team, will be used for a Close Up feature. Erudus Open Days can be mutually beneficial for both parties to understand each other - we received fantastic feedback on the quality of our products from a food-based business, and have been able to build on the positives and negatives for us to improve what we do and to reflect this in future presentations.
