New Integration Partner: EF-group
We’re getting 2024 off to an exciting start on all fronts - in addition to the upgrades and improvements coming to Erudus this month, we’re also delighted to welcome a new addition to the Erudus API fold - EF-group, home of CaterCloud and Freshmarkets, the leading procurement and menu management tools.
We caught up with CaterCloud Manager Alex Hollister-Gilroy to find out everything you need to know about our new API integration partner EF-group...

Alex says: “The biggest challenge for our clients is the fact they use smaller local suppliers who struggle to maintain such data sets, so our customers rely on EF-group to provide them with up to date and accurate allergen and nutritional data to help keep their business and their customers safe - and for them to work within the legal regulatory requirements.”
They’re welcoming Erudus as a trusted source of food data
Alex says: “[Erudus allows us] to have access to a comprehensive professional and trusted source of ingredient information, one that has a consistent structure to feed into our CaterCloud solution, and can link digitally - providing secure methods of data transfer to reduce risk of human error when entering ingredient information into the platform for recipe and menu management.”
And plan on reaping several of the platform’s benefits
Alex says: “The benefit of the instant data from Erudus is that we cut down on time delays in getting ingredient and allergen information to our client base. Additionally, providing updated reliable information on a regular basis that is not always available directly from our suppliers due to the resources at their disposal - especially those that use tier two and three supply chains.
The integration of Erudus with the CaterCloud tool is key
Alex says: “The main point of use [with Erudus] will be the integration into CaterCloud, providing instant data for customer ingredients and recipes. We will also use it for research and sense checking of the top consumer branded products to see if any variance in recipe changes.”
