New Enhancement: Managing local codes - Watch the webinar!
At the Erudus User Forum back in September we announced the launch date for a whole slate of exciting new additions and updates coming to the platform - 8 January 2024.
Well, the New Year is almost here, and we’re still sharing sneak peeks of what our users can expect when the update goes live.
This time we’re focusing on an enhancement of the management of local codes for Wholesalers, one that will substantially improve data flow.
So, what’s changing regarding the management of product codes?
Erudus will soon allow Wholesalers to add multiple local codes to a product specification. It’s that simple. (Erudus currently only allows for a single Wholesaler product code to be associated with a product specification).
Why are we making this change?
Wholesalers on Erudus will often have more than one SKU/product code linked to a single product. A primary example of this is When wholesalers sell a particular product both by the case and as individual units.
The Wholesaler will therefore have 2 separate codes associated with the same product in their internal systems, or elsewhere.
Being able to accurately document the correct codes against a single specification makes integration with other systems much easier for our Wholesaler users. A good example of this in effect would be e-commerce platforms selling products both by the case or singularly, and thanks to this new enhancement the data will flow more seamlessly with the addition of multiple codes.
