Erudus User Forum - 18th September 2024

We're delighted to reveal that our popular User Forum is returning in September, and this time we're inviting you to join us at Center Parks' beautiful Sherwood location, in the historic Nottinghamshire forest.

It's going to be our biggest and best event yet. So here's a sneak peek of what you can expect:

• Find out what’s been happening at Erudus, what we’ve been working on, and how our users stand to benefit
• Industry speakers
• An opportunity to give your feedback - tell us what’s missing, what doesn’t work, what you want to see us working on

We’re now happy to be able to announce more about what you can expect on the day - including the main agenda points. They are:

API 2

As promised earlier this year - Erudus is getting a shiny API upgrade, within which new attributes will be available. This is one of Erudus’s most anticipated long-term projects, and the forum will see us lift the lid on what API users can expect, the major differences between the old and new versions, and how the new API will be rolled out.

Guest speaker - Rob Mannion

As previously revealed, b2b.store’s Rob Mannion will be our guest speaker, with a session on “What’sApp for Business” - zooming in on the power of the social media platform for both brands and Wholesalers.

ESG

Last month we introduced a brand new feature for Manufacturers to Erudus - Erudus ESG survey for Manufacturers is our solution to helping our Manufacturer users communicate compliance with ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) standards. We’ll be recapping this new addition to Erudus and how to make the most of it, as well as previewing our equivalent for Wholesalers.

Erudus Upgrade

We’ve had a great response to the major changes and upgrades implemented to the Erudus platform back in January, and we’re excited to share with forum attendees the positive change that its prompted across the board - including the difference from the dev environment to production, and the effect on scale. We’ll also be covering bugs we’ve fixed, and give insight to how we’ll continue work to improve the system’s performance every day.

The forum’s agenda will also touch on

• What we’ve been doing to make data better - with an emphasis on making adding products to the Data Pool easier and quicker for Manufacturers
• New validations/checks
• The upcoming CSV Import to Draft feature
• Improving image coverage - how Erudus can help
