Bread, meat and biscuits get cheaper as UK food inflation drops
Finally some good news in the never-ending inflation saga. According to AOL, we’ll be seeing the first monthly fall in food prices for more than two years - offsetting the rise in gas and electricity costs, after the country’s inflation unexpectedly held still at 4% last month.
