Given the success of our September Steering Groups, it should come as no surprise that we’ll be rolling them out again next year.
And we can now confirm the dates for the events, to be held across 2 days at the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground in Nottingham:
- Manufacturer Steering Group – Tuesday 17 March 2020
- Wholesaler Steering Group – Wednesday 18 March 2020
In addition to invaluable feedback on the day-to-day running of Erudus, the last Steering Groups also brought some great system development ideas from our customers.
Unilever’s R&D Food Solutions Deploy Manager Wendy Duncan is keen for Erudus to continue simplifying the process of sharing food data. She says, “The food service industry is unique and complex – with so many different types of operators and channels. Erudus alleviates this complexity, and is important for the foodservice industry because everything is in one location. It’s easy and simple to use – far more user friendly than other systems available and is constantly being improved.”
We were also pleased to find out that attendees benefited directly from the Steering Groups too. Holdsworth Foods Depot Administrator Sarah Jones explains “Last September’s committee was well worth attending, and I certainly picked up valuable information which I have already put into practice. It was good to hear how things are moving forward and what is waiting in the wings. The fact that manufacturers and wholesalers are approached for input into development should make a wealth of difference in ensuring Erudus is beneficial and user friendly in different sectors.”

Tuesday 17th March 2020
You’ll have the opportunity to interact directly with our development and technical teams, and share your feedback, ideas and issues. As well as a review of last year’s updates and improvements to our Manufacturer solutions, there’ll also be tips on how to make the most of Erudus, and advice on how to improve the quality of your data. We’ll also be sharing new features to Erudus, as well as exciting future developments.
Wednesday 18th March 2020
We’ll be discussing business updates from last year, suggesting ways of improving your data, and sharing previews of what our development team have been working on and enhancing in terms of Wholesaler solutions. We’re also eager to hear your opinions on our news features and hear about topics you’d like to see covered, as well as what you think we should be working on in the wider business.
A full agenda will be released in February, but in the meantime we can tell you that coffee, snacks and lunch will be provided, and you can register for either event below.
