Release Notes March 2026: New features, attributes, validations and system fixes to Erudus

At Erudus we’re always looking to improve - to make life easier for our customers and progress further in our mission to make accurate food data more easily and quickly accessible to everyone who needs to see it. So we frequently introduce new features to the platform, and perform upgrades and fixes that keep things running smoothly and come as a direct response to any issues that our users are having. With that in mind, here’s what our team have been working on lately…

Introduction of Erudus Ampify
There is a new feature available in the Erudus Product Editor to help Manufacturers complete their specifications to a level where the data provided is more compatible for use in Public Sector Catering. This feature is called “Amplify” and at the below links you will find Erudus and Erudus Knowledge Base articles detailing how the new feature works, the benefits of using it and illustrations of the feature in app.
Removal of 3 year old specifications
To improve data integrity in the Erudus Data Pool a new auto-feature will archive product specifications that have not been updated or reviewed for more than 3 years, in accordance with our data integrity policy for non compliance. Users will receive a quarterly notification advising which of their products are between 2 and 3 years old and without review or update, and what date they will be archived if no action is taken. A Knowledge Base article on how to review a specification is linked to below.
Fixes
All users
Error on Product Lists with more than 200 products
When using the Product List functionality, users were receiving errors when creating lists that had more than 200 products at a time. This has been resolved and users are now able to create product lists of up to 10,000 products without any errors.
Hyperlinks on Erudus.com
The erudus.com website had some hyperlinks that weren’t routing to the correct web forms. This has been fixed and hyperlinks will route users to the appropriate pages of the website.

Error on specifications where “No Inner Component Present” is selected as “Yes”
Users were experiencing an issue when selecting “No Inner Component Present” as “Yes” in the Product Editor. The inner component attributes would no longer be selectable but validation errors would flag for inner component dimensions. This has been resolved and going forward, declaring that there is no inner component present will no longer flag validation errors for inner component attributes.
Validations
Product diameter declared
When declaring inner component dimensions in the Product Editor, if a product has a diameter declared, users will no longer need to declare width and depth attributes.
