We were absolutely thrilled to be the winners - for over 200 years the North East Chamber of Commerce has championed businesses in North East England, and to be honoured by them was a great reward for all the hard work we’ve been doing.

It was such a great experience that this year we’ve decided to pay it forward - and can now announce that we’ll be sponsoring the SME Business of the Year Award (Regional) at this year’s event.

And so, as the Awards open for entries, we’d like to encourage other businesses to submit themselves and take part.

Here’s what you need to know about the Chamber Business Awards and the award we are sponsoring…

What is the SME Business of the Year Award?

The SME Business of the Year Award (regional) is looking for a business that strives to be best in its field, engages in our region and engages with its workforce. This business goes from strength to strength whatever comes its way and knows which way it’s going. It is open to small and medium businesses who are members of the Chamber.

Who are the awards open to?

The awards are open to members of the North East Chamber of Commerce - encompassing some 2000 businesses across the Northeast region, and covering all sizes and sectors of industry. If you’re a Northeast-based business and you’re not a member but would like to explore becoming one you can email your@necc.co.uk for more information.
