Christmas is nearly here! And its been a busy build up for the Erudus team, with a jam-packed run up to the big day, attending a whole host of industry events and hosting a virtual version of our annual User Forum...

What

An online, condensed version of our annual ‘in person’ Erudus User Forum, which was held at Centre Parcs in September.

73 Erudus users attended the event. We shared information on what we’ve been working on over the past year and offered sneak peeks at new features coming to the platform.

Caterforce Conference

What

We were invited to the 7th Caterforce conference, named Delivering Success. Over 350 delegates attended the event, kicking off with a ‘meet the member’ networking session, followed by a number of presentations from various members of the group. Subjects covered growth, AI, digital marketing and sustainability.

Followed by an evening of celebration, a fantastic talk from football legend Kevin Keegan and awards for the best Caterforce suppliers in 2024 as voted for by its members.

Feeding Families

What

Blaydon-based food charity Feeding Families held an event to launch their Festive Campaign, and North East mayor Kim McGuinness was in attendance, urging local businesses and residents alike to join her and Feeding Families in supporting thousands of families facing food insecurity this Christmas.

The mayor made the appeal at the event, which was hosted jointly by Feeding Families and the North East Chamber of Commerce.

Feeding Families launched its festive campaign to raise £213,700 to provide food boxes and support packages to over 8,500 families and individuals in need from around the northeast.

CEO Jon Shayler represented Erudus in attending the event and brought back a food collection box for Erudus HQ. Fast forward a few weeks and the wider Erudus team have kindly donated enough food to fill the box.
