Wholesalers using Lady Lodge System’s TRACT to benefit from Erudus API link

Wholesalers using the ubiquitous TRACT Food Service Wholesalers system from Lady Lodge Systems (LLS) can now benefit from the automatic population of Allergen, Nutrition, Ingredients, Storage and Cooking Instructions into their Lady Lodge solutions.

LLS recently completed a development project that integrates with the Erudus API and allows product data from Erudus to automatically update the databases on TRACT and flow through to the Coldweb, Repweb and Mobile Coldweb Ordering App solutions.

Total Foodservice, with depots in Clitheroe & Huddersfield, were the first to trial the integration in late 2017 with their LLS mobile ordering app. It has enabled customers to see product data enriched with allergen and nutritional information instantly in the palm of their hand.

Total Foodservice managing director Simon Howarth said:

It’s fantastic. Our customers are responsible for sharing allergen information with their customers and, as a foodservice wholesaler, we are a link in that chain. Erudus allows us to move that data from computer to computer, with no human intervention, which significantly reduces the risk of error. It’s scary because product specifications change every day. One of the huge benefits of Erudus is users are notified immediately. When manufacturers update product info, Erudus informs Lady Lodge’s systems and users receive a daily email helpfully summarising any amends. For me, Erudus is the UK’s default option for food allergen information. The fact it is now linked to Lady Lodge is huge. We use the Lady Lodge mobile ordering app and it’s allowed our customers to see product data enriched with allergen and nutritional information instantly in the palm of their hand.
