Wholesalers Update
Find out how Wholesalers are adapting their business models to help the industry and the nation in these difficult times...
Due to the current pandemic, the demand for food products has never been greater - but so are the challenges for getting those products to the consumer.
It’s a daunting task, but many businesses are stepping up, not only to help themselves, but to help ensure food reaches those communities who are finding it difficult to obtain.
So we thought over the coming weeks we’d take a look at the ways some of our Wholesale customers and friends in the industry are opening up their business to the public, and adapting the way they operate...

Confex Ltd
Has opened its Wholesaler Marketplace to all Wholesalers, regardless of their size of affiliation, in a bid to keep stock flowing through the industry and aid those Wholesalers trying to provide their retail customers with the quantities of stock they need. Confex’s Wholesaler Marketplace is a secure online environment in which Wholesalers can buy and sell stock and share ideas and solutions.
Local Food Drops
A new website has launched to provide alternative ways to shop for food and drink during the COVID-19 pandemic. The venture is helping foodservice businesses who traditionally operate in the B2B market, adapt to selling directly to consumers in this high-demand time. It aims to help local communities get better access to the supplies they need via deliveries and click & collect, and connects shoppers with thousands of products from top suppliers.
And we’re such a fan of the initiative we’re one of the sponsors. Find out more here
We’ll be back next week with a round-up of even more of our Wholesaler friends...
