Erudus Wordpress Plugin
We’ve built a WordPress Plugin and we’re really pleased to announce its launch. The ‘Erudus One for WordPress’ plugin is available to download from the WordPress.org plugin directory here.
The plugin works in conjunction with the Erudus API and allows you to display product information on your website pages using a simple shortcode:

What Product Information can be displayed?
By default the plugin will return the following product attributes: –
- Product Name
- Outer & Inner GTIN’s (Barcodes)
- Product Description
- Weight / Volume Information
- Packaging Type
- Ingredient Declaration
- Nutritional Information
- Energy kJ/kcal
- Fat
- of which saturates
- Carbohydrates
- of which sugars
- Fibre
- Protein
- Salt
- Allergens (14 Major Food Allergens)
- Diet Suitability
- Directions for use
- Storage Instructions
- Country of Origin
What does this mean?
Wholesalers and Manufacturers using WordPress will now be able to enhance their website product pages by displaying additional product attributes, and better still, if the product data changes its updated on your website automatically.
API Credentials?
The plugin requires valid credentials for the Erudus Public API.
Please contact the Erudus support team to obtain your API credentials if you do not see the ‘Developer’ menu option within your Erudus user dashboard.
